How do you deploy Windows updates after importing prestaged content?
We have a separate AD/MECM infrastructure that does not have internet access, so it cannot download updates. We are currently creating prestaged content files (*.pkgx) using the ExtractContent.exe tool (on the internet accessible MECM) and populating the other MECM content library by importing the packages. After the import is complete, there are no folders or files from which we can deploy updates using Software Update Groups.
Is there a different way to deploy updates on the imported server? What is the process to send out the updates once the content library is populated?
