Hello.
I am trying to create custom roles for HD staff so they can only deploy updates/applications to specific collection of devices.
I copied the newly created role from a built in role fine. the problem is when the user tries to connect to the site from a console, they are unable to connect.
The smsadminui log initial error says insufficient privilege to connect. I even manually added the newly created admin user to the site database in sql with db_datareader membership. still no luck.
but, if i include a user in one of the built in roles, they connect fine to site database.
