i am trying to create a new DP but for whatever reason its telling giving me this below error message:
"
Package Transfer Manager failed to update the package "CM100002", Version 14 on the distribution point. Review PkgXferMgr.log for more information about this failure.

Possible cause: The site server does not have sufficient rights to the source directory.
Solution: Verify that the site server computer account has at least Read access to the directory you specify as the source directory.

Possible cause: There is not enough disk space available on the distribution point.
Solution: Verify that there is enough free disk space available on the distribution point."
I checked all the service account and the permission are valid. this is not the first time I am creating DP. not sure what else to check. If someone can help me or guide me that would be great. I also attached the logs.

and did you review the log? since CM doesn't really use service accounts, exactly what service account did you check permission to?

i checked the logs. i have attached it. we used the same service before and we were able to deploy DP but

can't upload the logs it says it's too large. Are you able to provide me with more detail about what you mean " screenshot does not show the permission on the DP" we have a service account and that is part of the local administrator on DP

CM doesn't really user service account, it use the computer account. So EXACTLY what service account are you talking about?

Your screenshot is showing the "account" is from Active directory user and computer. Not a Share permissions or file permissions or local administrator group.

My understanding was when you create a new DP the primary computer name and also the sccm service account needs to be part of the DP. and I have added both of them in Local Users and groups and its still saying "Possible cause: The site server does not have sufficient rights to the source directory."
