Hey, so im looking to see if anyone has experienced similar, resolved or has a workaround for an issue we are seeing when trying to create a new CMG.

Currently in v2409, we have a CMG in place that was converted to VMSS way back when we upgraded to 2107. Its working fine and not had any problems but for auditing and recharge purposes we want the Azure side to reside in a different subscription. This was all set up and ready so we could crack on with creating a new CMG to run in tandem with the current one and eventually phase the old one out. Plan was to hopefully utilise the same server app and just create the new CMG from the wizard in console pointing to the new sub.

Everything has went ok apart from when attempting to create the new CMG we get an error in console

Aware that the A2_V2 VMSS is outdated and MS want to move away from them, SCCM only gives the standard options of small/medium/large

and not any choice of VM Type. We have had a new VMSS A2_V2 allocation to our sub and are in fact able to manually create an A2_V2 Size VMSS

but unfortunately from the CMG wizard in SCCM its like its not there. Ticket raised with MS but after 3 weeks we have had zero response, so as i said i am looking to see if any of you legends have any experience with the same? has anyone tried to create a new CMG since converting and its worked? any workarounds i should maybe look at?
