I am very new to SCCM but wanted to test this in VMWare Workstation. I installed the SCCM server, created task sequence with both a boot and OS image.
My client is receiving the PXE boot signal but right after I select the task sequence it gives an error.
I created the task sequence:

Now in the SMSTS error log I can see the following error:

So it seems it is failing on the boot image ID. I have made sure it was succesfully distributed to the distribution point.
Thank you for some suggestions as to how I can fix this.

Remove the package from the DP manually and redistribute it again.

The package ID of your boot image is different from the package ID that is failing to be resolved by TS. What is package GO500004?
