Hello how are you? I tell you about a problem I'm having. I have created a new distribution point which through the bundri I want to restrict to this ip range to download the contents from this new DP, but I am not getting all the clients to download from this DP associated with the boundaryGroups .. checking the Log From the client "ContentTransferManager.log" I see that it is downloaded from the one that is not associated with the boundarygroups .. Any suggestion that I should review ??

Make sure that this DP is not part of the Default Boundary groups and not configured as a neighbor.

See also the following documentation :
Thank you very much for the contribution, in fact, yes, the boundary of this subnet was removed from the default and a new Group was generated where this unique Distribution point was added as a default to serve these clients .. but in the "ContentDataTransfer" log The client lists all the main DPs and this new one when only the new one should appear

I think you have just to wait until the client clean all DP's and refresh the list with the new ones.

By the way, you can try to run the Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation cycle in the Configuration Manager actions.

Yes, it is exactly what we do but this does not work in the list of DPs with which you must interact. the policy evaluation cycle only refreshes what to download but apparently does not indicate that DP ... just lists all available and randomly selects one. it's like the Boundaries Groups restriction was not working ..

Have you checked if there is any relationship between the boundary groups / DP's ?
Yes, check and the boundaries group is not related to the others ... in fact they have their own group and this one is associated with only one dp to limit the download within the resumption of the subnet .. but anyway the clients list this and the other dp when according to the restriction should not. this is why it is driving me crazy trying to see where the configuration is failing.

What kind of boundaries are you used in your boundary groups? It is Active Directory site, IP address range, network?

Dear, thank you very much for your contributions, I already found the problem. it was in the configuration in the ranges of the Boundaries. They were badly ill, therefore, when they were not found, they went to the central sites. Thank you very much.
