PENDING ConfigMgr Hierarchy help

Is there anyway for ConfigMgr to manage hundreds of forests? I need to engineer a way to manage multiple locations when connected (Push out updates/OS upgrades/application) but also manage/administer these machines when they are not connected for months at a time.

Is this possible?

CMCB should have no problems doing this, why do you think it can't?

Ideally there is no limit provided by Microsoft about this. But do you really have hundreds of forests ?.
