PENDING ConfigMgr can't connect to the administration service

Have the following
The configuration manager console can't connect to the site database through the administration service
There's no certificate on the SMS provider site system server.
Any pointers would be helpful

I'm sorry I'm not following you. CM console, connects the the WMI provider not the Admin service.

Exactly what problem are you trying to solve?

this shows when you go into administration, updates and servicing and console extensions.

make sure there is a valid pki or CM Generated cert for the site

Ok so what you are saying is that the admin service itself can't connect to the db. So did you follow the advice and check your Certs as you listed above?
