PENDING ConfigMgr 1610 Client fails during OSD

My OS image applies without any problems, and then when the client reboots to install the ConfigMgr Agent, the Agent install times out.

Strictly speaking, the Task Sequence isn't failing, but it's not completing the ConfigMgr Client install, so it can't continue after the reboot. Has anyone else experienced this?

If you're building Windows 7 SP1, and you adopted 1610 early, it's to do with the trust chain on the ConfigMgr client install. Should be resolved with a hotfix soonish.

Workaround might be to install the signing cert that's used on the client package to prior to running the client install in the Task sequence.
