Hi

we have problem on computers on VPN (but some computers in LAN too).
I create new deployment but computer on VPN don't see it.
In policies log i see no new assignment for machine or user.
Other logs looks OK.
I push notification to get machine policies nothing happened.
But when i restart ccmexec service computer find new policies and install deployment.
Some one help?

Hi Marek,
Check if any issues regarding mp locating and getting the policy for assignment. Initiate the policies for couple of machines and watch the logs. If restarting is the solution for you, then can you check same method in other bunch of machines ?

Hi restarting is really not a solution. I need to find what is wrong.
It looks like some policy cache or something like this .
I look at logs but cant find nothing suspicious.

What policyagent.log says ? If no policy recieved then there should be some error or hints in logs.

As you mentioned, I think it's not related to VPN since some machines in LAN also same issue.

Hello
Can you please check in locationservices.log if Distribution Point is found ?
We haved the same issue on our client, i think it was 1910 client (version 1012, before Hotfix) corrupted installation.
We have seen that boundary group was successfully found, but no Dp in locationservices.log, no new policy detected, and no deployment...

We have resolved it by reinstalling client on devices...

Hope that will help you

In the log file, you can see http error when try access MP:
0x80072ee7 : The server name or address could not be resolved.

Your client cannot connect to mp, this is the reason of your issue

No its not.
This is before connect to VPN . It normal cause without VPN you dont have MP or DP.
At 12:11:34 its connected to VPN .

I find this an look like this is problem of 1910 client. When client start and don't have MP and then reconnect to VPN client don't try to find MP again.

Which client version is installed on client ?
I Said in first post that corrupted client was the reason in my case. Can it be the same for you ?
What if you try to reinstall client ?

All clients are 1910.
We have new installed computers with this issue. So this is not problem of corrupted installation.

Having the same issue... Microsoft definitely needs to look further into this... I can count tons of people reporting this issue all using various VPN Clients.... It is not boundaries or anything of that sort.
