PENDING CM client push install failed with error - 0x80070005

Dear Experts,

When I tried to install CCM client for some PCs, which were online and reachable. half of them failed to installed with following errors

  1. *---> Searching for SMSClientInstall.* under '\\DELL3620-01.test.com\admin$\' SMS_CLIENT_CONFIG_MANAGER 25/04/2022 17:14:05 9908 (0x26B4)

I also tried the manual installation method by running ccmsetup.exe but very odd that we can see cm icon via Control Panel but the options were incomplete. Software Center was not available on these problematic machines, either.

Have you checked to see whether the firewall settings were correctly applied?
  • File and Print Sharing
  • Windows Management Instrumentation
  • Remote Procedure Call

OR

Please follow the steps below and let us know how things went,

  • Restart the device
  • Sign in as the Domain\Administrator account
  • Examine the firewall to ensure that all settings are right. If not, execute the group policies if the firewall is managed by group policy
  • Manually install the CM client
  • Reboot the device

If there is no issue with the firewall \DNS, Have you seen this error "Insufficient privilege to connect, error: 'Access is denied" in SmsAdminUI.log?

if yes, try adding the following,
Path : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Ole\AppCompat
Value Name: "RequireIntegrityActivationAuthenticationLevel"
Type: dword
Value Data: default = 0x00000000

& reboot the device . re-install client manually.
 
Ping the client machine name from your server and vice versa

If you receive a ping response, there is no problem.
 
I installed SCCM client on 30 Windows 10 22H2 machines, therefore I don't think the problem is with a feature upgrade.

If you have second thoughts, manually install the Windows 10 update on the affected machine.
Restart the computer and install the ccmclient.
