PENDING Client download from SUP instead of DP

Hi everyone,
our SCCM infrastructure is made up of a single site with multiple servers per role:
1 x Site Server (Asset Intelligence, Component server, Service connection, SMS Provider)
1 x SMS Provider + Component server
2 x Management Point + Component server
1 x Site database server + Component server
1 x Reporting service point + Component server
1 x SUP + Endpoint protection point + Component server
9 x Distribution point
We use ADR to deploy security update (windows and office) and SCEP but when client/server start download patch we noticed that the network traffic is all towards the SUP and no patches are requested by the DPs.

Client will not download from the SUP unless it is a DP too. OR you are using WSUS policies to deploy SU instead of CM. the Logs will tell you for sure.

When you say "the Logs will tell you for sure" you are referring to windowsupdate.log or sccm client logs
