Hello,

I am new to this forum and I need all the help you can give me.

I have a SCCM client that I can't get it to register in the console. The only log I see that is updated is the ClientIDManagerStartup.log. In this log only the following lines appear repeatedly:

[RegTask] - Client is not registered. Sending registration request for GUID:9D85F596-9DDE-4B06-A4B1-C1903BCB3E6C ...
RegTask: Failed to send registration request message. Error: 0x80040154
RegTask: Failed to send registration request. Error: 0x80040154
[RegTask] - Sleeping for 120 seconds ...

The only thing that changes are the seconds of the last line, which are increasing.

If you need any more log, please don't hesitate to ask me.

Thanks for your help.

did you try reinstalling the the client? What troubleshoot have you done?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the client several times and the same thing always happens.

Did you look at the client? What does it say within the control panel? The the setup log complete successfully? e.g. what the ccmsetup.log say execute code 0 or something else? What does no registering in the console mean?

I see everything correct except for the actions that are only the team and user policy cycles. The rest of the cycles are not
The the setup log complete successfully?
Installation is always correct: CcmSetup is exiting with return code 0

I look for the machine in question in the SCCM console under Assets and Compatibility -->Devices, and it does not appear

So for the first two this means the client installed correctly. and you have boundary issues.
For the third issue, it also means that you don't have AD system discovery enabled.
