Hello,
We face an issue with workstations patch management. The problem is that Windows 7 computers don’t pass the whole process of patching and stays in “Unknown” state with “Client check passed/Active” description. This problem appear just for software updates (first applied with ADR but same for manually created Software Update Groups later)! Everything is OK if I try to deploy package. There is such exceptions for Windows Server computers but they are few, they are different machines every time and happened before the mass problem on Windows 7 too.
We use System Center Configuration Manager 2012 SP1. Windows Auto Update is disabled by administrator.
What I tried and checked:
MP needs to reload the hardware inventory class mapping table when processing Hardware inventory. The MP hardware inventory manager cannot find a WMI class definition in the mapping table when processing a report. This should only happen if new definitions beyond those known to the site are added to the collected classes.
Inventory Data Loader failed to read the delta MIF file "F:\ConfigurationManager\inboxes\auth\dataldr.box\Process\XHNNUCDQP.MIF" and will move the file to the BADMIFs directory.
I know there is a lot of questions on this topic but it look like I miss something, I didn’t find my answer, so please help! Once again I want to mention that the problem is only (mainly) with Windows 7. There is exceptions for Windows Server computers with same issue but they are few, they are different machines every time and happened before the mass problem on Windows 7 too. If I find a resolution will apply it also on the servers.
Thank you very much for your cooperation and time in advance!

What I tried and checked:
- Manually run and re-run deployment Summarization
- Site Status – OK
- Component Status – NOK but not sure those below could cause the problem.

- Upgrade SCCM Server to the latest version (CU5 – 5.0.7804.1600)
- Upgrade SCCM Console to the latest version (CU5 – 5.0.7804.1600)
- Upgrade SCCM Clients to the latest version (CU5 – 5.0.7804.1600)
- And last – Update Windows Update Agent to latest version. I did this just on one machine and can’t check is there any change right now (I’m in sick leave) but the problem is not with exact previous version because the workstations are with different ones and they are all affected.
