The new feature, 'Approve application request for users by device', is good. However, I'm finding without a way to clear the request, if the machine gets reimaged and deployed to a new user, those applications automatically reinstall.
Is there a way to prevent this? Am I missing something in the process?
I deploy an application to a collection (all workstations), action:install, purpose:available,'an administrator must approve':checked, I can now right-click a device and install application.
Fine. Until that PC get's deployed to a different person, then applications get reinstalled.
If I need to deploy to a specific collection (i.e., Main St. Teachers) what's the point, I can just deploy as 'required' or 'available'.
I would like to understand how people are making this work.
