SOLVED change application from available to required

hi all,

when an application is assigned to a computer as available, is there some way to change the status to required remotely? I would like to add this functionality to our internal tool but google is not cooperating regarding this topic.

maybe changing the local application policy?

No I don't think you can change it remotely once it is deployed. The deployment settings are baked with application deployment and you have to remove the deployment, change it to required and re-deploy.
