We are currently facing an issue where the internal certificate service (eHTTP) of Configuration Manager (version 2403) is not issuing certificates. We suspect that this problem stems from the incomplete decommissioning of a previous Primary Site Server. Although this server was removed during the transition and is no longer visible in the SCCM console, references to it persist in logs such as FailOverMgr.log and Certmgr.log. Additionally, entries related to the old server remain in the SiteControl.xml file and within the SCCM database.
To address this issue, it's essential to ensure that all remnants of the old Primary Site Server are thoroughly removed from the SCCM environment. This includes cleaning up any lingering references in configuration files, logs, and the database to restore proper functionality to the eHTTP certificate issuance process.
Any Ideas?
