PENDING C:\Windows\CCM\CIDownloader\Staging containing thousands of files

Hi all,
I have a lot of PC on my environment running on low disk space.
After several checks I found out that the folder C:\Windows\CIDownloader\Staging containt thousands of .tmp and .zip files.
Can Anyone help me finding the root cause?

I believe that folder relates to compliance settings configuration items. Are there any compliance settings configured for that client?
