After upgrade i am using an option of Automatic client update , but its failiing with error : Auto-upgrade policy is disabled. Will skip this auto-upgrade execution in ccmsetup.log

Can anyone let me know from where it is exactly taking this policy

Have you done changes in hierarchy before moving to preproduction?
Did you checked the settings has been applied (Hman.log)?

You are right, Microsoft is aware of this. For now I cannot say it will be fixed in next update.
