Hi everyone!

I have a SCCM installation with SQL Server 2017, and I`m looking to configure Asset Intelligence for my main site.
At the moment I stopped on the step of checking all prerequisites for this setup.

The question is: do I need to install Reporting Services Point for correct work of Asset Intelligence? And what kind of functionality will be unavailable, if I`ll skip this?

In official documentation I found the following text:
"Reporting services point The reporting services point site system role must be installed before software updates reports can be displayed. For more information about creating a reporting services point, see Configuring Reporting in Configuration Manager."

However it is not totally clear for me, cuz without reporting services point I guess it is impossible to view any kind of reports in sccm, is it correct?

Thanks to someone in advance for explanation.

No you don't need a RP for AI to work BUT You need a RP for the reports to work.
That is correct. you need the reporting point (RP) to view reports.
