Hello,
On a I SCCM build 2010 environment I am replacing a SSL client with a new, different application on some customer's computers but want to keep the older application on many others to do a staged deployment.
Now I created a new app with the new client and set supersedence of the old app (with "uninstall" and the new deployment type of the new, different app).
As soon as I did this, it was no more possible to install the "old" app on those computers without the deployment of the "new" app.
The old app simply disappeared from software center.
Is this behaviour normal, because actually I expected the supersedence to only happen to those computers on which I deploy the new application..
Thanks in advance, Markus
