Hi Guys

I have a couple of laptop that have the SCCM client installed but on the console it says "No" . What I think is happening is the desktop guys used a master image that already had a client on it. I deleted the cert on one of the laptops and restarted the sms service and its showed up in console with client but then disappeared again with No client on the console. Im not sure what else to try any help would be appreciated

"I have a couple of laptop that have the SCCM client installed but on the console it says "No" - At this point did you login to one of those client machine and check if configmgr client agent was present ?. Since this is a master image, it should install the client along with OS. What cert did you delete ?. I suggest you check the log files on client machines to see what the issue is. Also, try pushing the client agents on to those machines, if it fails, it should reveal why it failed in the log files.

Yes I checked the logs on the client machine and there shows no errors. The clients have SCCM installed , receives deployments that are set to go to All machines , Config manager in control panel has correct site code and MP. I tried uninstalling the client - deleting the smsconfig.ini file and also certutil –delstore SMS SMS. Same issue shows up in consol;e then run a update membership and it shows as No client in console
