Not sure if this should be here or in SCCM forum but...

I have several thousand clients which are on Win 10.
For the past 2 years any new machine has been Win 11 but I am now only getting permission to upgrade existing user machines.

SUP: Products has Win11 selected, Classifications has Feature/Update/Upgrades

Yes we tell people to have their documents off the local drive but that's just not going to happen (real world users).
Have tried different options in the "All Windows Feature Updates" but keep seeing data loss.

Is there a specific pathway I must take to prevent this?

EDIT: Every deployment, so far, appears in the Operation Systems tab and not Updates, in Software Management and does a full reinstall, including disk partition

I have recently done this with an upgrade TS and informed users they can do it in their own time, evenings or weekends. No data loss and by installation failure it just remains on W10, those can be treated as individual cases

Feature update did not work for me for SCCM.

Windows 10 22H2 Ent to Win11 24H2 Ent (you should have Windows 11 Enterprise index in your ISO)

It performs in-place upgrade withing 1 hr 30 min without data/application loss.

I hope this info will help you.
