Dear All,

I’ve been assigned a project to provide roadmaps for Microsoft products currently running in our environment. I know there's an option in SCCM (Assets and Compliance -> Asset Intelligence) to find the lifecycle of Microsoft products, but I'm not sure if this is enabled in our organization, where I currently don’t have access. Is there any other Microsoft tool (such as Admin portal, intune portal or azure portal) that can check the products in the environment and identify which ones are nearing end-of-life (EOL), or is SCCM the most reliable solution for this?

I’m using the Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit to identify Microsoft EOL products running in our environment and to assist with future roadmaps. However, as far as I understand, there is no direct way to find Microsoft EOL products. The toolkit does provide comprehensive information to help plan and assess migrations to the cloud, servers, and desktop.

I think Asset Intelligence is deprecated. You can use lansweeper to get a report of which machines are EOL, which ones are nearing their EOL date, and which ones are still supported for some time

Thanks for your response.
I don't think the company will purchase an external source for Microsoft product validation, as it involves multiple approvals, including change management, to install this on a server. I am looking for an option to check within Microsoft services, such as the admin portal, Azure, SCCM, or other Microsoft utility tools

Ok but what if the tools by MS will not fit your requirements?. How will you convince that to the business?. I believe the tools outside MS always offer lot of features.
