Hi Friends
I am trying to install Windows server update services but no success.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. During installation getting following error message.
The request to add or remove features on the specified server failed.
The operation can not be completed, because the server that you specified requires a restart.
I have tried
Open the Computer Configuration –> Policies –> Windows Settings –> Security Settings –> Local Policies –> User Rights Assignment

‘Log on as a service’ setting. Added NETWORK, NETWORK SERVICE/All, and SERVICE Account.

What exactly is the error within the log?

The error says the server requires a restart. Did you restart the server prior to installing the roles?
