PENDING Getting real-time update on software inventory

Hi,
I had 20 computers running MS Project yesterday. My team members are uninstalling from a few of those. I want to get the update as of now-- how many computers still have MS Project .

A) How do I get the latest update?
B) Also is there any way to know how many computers were running MS Project 5 days back?

A) In the client settings > Software Inventory, what is the schedule that you have set for "schedule software inventory and file collection".
B) I don't think this can be done using the SCCM reports.
