Hi All

Having a few issues deploying SCCM client to windows 10

It works for windows 7 pro and 8.1 pro but when deploying it to windows 10 it doesn't work.

Do I need an updated client? Can anyone give me any advice?

Open the configuration manager console -> Top left corner click on down arrow -> click About Configuration Manager -> You will see site version and console version.

Version 5.0.7958.1604

Not sure where the log file is. Have done a search but can't find it. Frustrating when learning something new...

The log file is located on the client machine in the following location. C:\Windows\ccmsetup\Logs.
Looking at the site version I guess you are running SCCM 2012 R2 + CU5. You need to upgrade your site with the latest configuration manager service packs. This will add the support to manage windows 10 clients using SCCM.
You could upgrade your site to SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 - http://prajwaldesai.com/sccm-2012-r2-sp1-upgrade-guide/

Hi

it says they are evaluation versions, If I update will it change it to an evaluation version and run out in 180 days???

Ok thanks

Just in the process of upgrading now.

Thank you for your help, very much appreciated.

Supposed to be doing a training course on sccm r2 at the end of the month but has got cancelled. Has been rearranged for November...
