I work in an organization where we have distribution points all over the world. To date we have only one primary site and we have problems with replications on our DPs because of the weak internet connections present on some sites.
If we do not prioritize DPs with a good internet connection, it blocks because we have found that SCCM is waiting for the first three DPs to be fully up to date to move on to the next.
We are now obliged to push the synchro in priority on our DP with a good internet connection and then on the other DPs by limiting ourselves to 3 simultaneous DPs. We wonder if it would not be wise to review our infrastructure can by setting up a second site on which DPs with low connection would go to connect?
Do you have similar experiences or an opinion to give me?
Or maybe we have a bad setting ? Any idea.
