PENDING How to configure the workgroup server in the domain SCOM server to manag

Hi,
In Our organization we have both servers some are in a domain and some are in a workgroup. we are able to manage domain servers through SCOM(SCCM) to deploy patches but for the non-domain server, we are not able to manage them. could you help with this?
We can ping nondomain servers from SCOM(SCCM) server.

So are you talking about SCOM OR ConfigMgr?
