Any pointers I would be so greatful. So in Config Manager I went to the DP that I have everything distributed to (task sequences, OS, Driver Packs, Boot Image (have the deploy this boot image from the pxe-enabled dist point) box checked on the boot image) successfully. Enabled pxe on the DP with Allow incoming requests, Enable Unknown support, Enable pxe responder without WDS service. The DP also is used for WDS deployment (this is process switching to Config Manager instead). Tried a device to pxe boot, device is on same subnet at DP, gets to Start pxe ipv4 and thats it, not getting DHCP lease/response. Verified WDS is disabled with the enbaling of config manager. I then read a few forums that in the DHCP scope on the SP remove 60 pxeclient, and 66 the server host. I tried that, still the same. any ideas or something I am missing. WDS pxe works fine.

If the DHCP server and PXE clients are on the same subnet, there’s no need to configure additional DHCP options. Verify whether the DHCP server is assigning an IP address to the client; this should be checked directly on the DHCP server. Additionally, is this issue occurring in your lab environment or a production setup?

Also check the smspxe logs on the dp. I have also experienced DHCP scope fully used in the past, it was popoled with another dhcp server that had been switched off.

Clients and dhcp server on same subnet so correct should not need anything else configed on DHCP. I watched for a lease when doing the pxe boot, no lease is given. The smspxe log doesnt get any update. Almost as if no request even sent or possible response. The server is hosting DHCP, also WDS deployment is and Config Manager DP. Verified the WDS was diabled at pxe boot test with sccm.
