I'm running MECM Cfg Mgr 2403 on WIndows Server 2019 Std with SQL Server 2019. I am exploring options for upgrading endpoints to Windows 11 22H2. I start the Operating System Upgrade Packages Wizard and the source path field is greyed out. I can select a folder using the <Browse...> button but then I can't modify it to a UNC path, which is required. The same thing is true of the Operating System Images node. I think I crossed a post which made me think I might be missing something in my setup but I skimmed over it and now can't find it again. Any insights are greatly appreciated!

Thanx

I discovered I can click on <Browse...> and add the the UNC path to the address bar and click on <Select Folder> and it will populate the path field as desired. However, upon completing the wizard I am presented with all errors and 'Generic Failure"....

So, in working with this more, I realized I did neglect a couple of steps:

1. Create an OS Image (with index of desired OS version specified)
2. THEN create OS Upgrade Package, pointing to the OS Image
3. Then create a Task Sequence to deploy the upgrade package.

Everything seems to be in order now...
